Yoga

I am a Level 3-Registered Senior Teacher with Yoga
Australia. Classes are for beginners, intermediate and advanced
in Hatha Yoga- a gentle traditional form. Asana (postures) are for realignment,
balancing energy, increasing flexibility and fitness. Sessions are for all ages and gender, pre and post-natal, and chair Yoga is offered. Importance is placed on
individual need, accounting for health and injury status, level of fitness and
flexibility. Relaxation, meditation and techniques for channel release are
included.

Meditation and mindfulness techniques
are part of the Yogic experience and are also offered separately. I have twenty
years of experience in meditation and mindfulness training. Meditation improves
mental clarity and emotional stability in everyday life. It promotes
the rediscovery of spontaneity, and opens untapped potential and sources
of inspiration.
Mindfulness training develops dynamic awareness to support
the navigation of daily challenges with ease.
The practices can lead to self-transformation
and awakening of spiritual vision.

Relaxation is also part of the Yogic
experience, and is offered on its own or with other modalities. Using the relaxation methods of Yoga Nidra, derived
from the practice of Yoga, it helps the body to de-stress, de-compact and find new ways of taking control. Life-flow
techniques that enhance the life force are introduced as part of the relaxation
response. All practices are tools to use in daily life and transferable to your
own circumstances.

IST (Inner Space Techniques) Energetic body therapy. IST is a body-centered holistic therapy that includes a person’s psychological, spiritual and energetic dimensions. IST has a number of facets including ISIS (Inner Space Interactive Sourcing), healing, clearing/freeing of unwanted energies and dowsing houses for negative land energies.The Hartmann grid named after the German researcher Dr Hartmann who through studies of patients found links between poor mental and physical health and sleeping on earth lines. The ISIS process uses the inner space of meditation and through intuition and perception of the body of energy access to deep levels of the human psyche can be reached. No previous training in meditation is required. Reveals emotional and energetic factors of ill-health, and can activate healing.

Chi Kung (Qi Gong)

I am a qualified Chi Kung Leader Level-1,Tai Chi, Chi Kung Shibashi-1st Set. Chi Kung is a gentle relaxing form of exercise for all ages (standing and chair) to increase the flow of life force. Chi Kung exercise promotes the flow of Chi-vital life force through the meridians; it helps to unblock the channels, and assists in healing and prevention of disease. Chi Kung is a good starting point on the road to recovery or when just getting back into exercise. Master Allan Kelson, who introduced this set to Australia, says ‘this set will meet all the requirements of the body in exercise, because its exercises all the muscles, joints and ligaments with minimum jarring and impact on the body’. Counselling

As stages, events and processes in life present challenges, counselling offers an opportunity to take time out to clarify ideas and feelings. A counselling setting provides the space for stories and experiences to be heard and possibility for change to emerge.
Counselling guides the individual to develop awareness, enabling inner resources to be tapped for solutions. When internal conflicts are resolved freedom from anxiety, stress and related conditions are experienced.
Counselling assists to identify negative emotional imprints and conditioning leading to an understanding of how life is affected by emotional patterns.
General and transpersonal counselling are offered. General is such areas as stress, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, self-esteem and relationship issues (includes family, interpersonal, adolesence and partner). Transpersonal is more about the deeper aspects of meaning and direction in life.

Career Counselling and Educational/Mentoring Support
Career counselling is for all ages, from secondary students and school leavers to mature age. It is a process to identify and link personal attributes, career types and choices with career and educational pathways.
For career change, assistance to create cover letters and resumes, both general and specific to employer and industry needs.
Tutorial/study support for Tertiary, VET and University, covering all study modes including distance and online.
